You’ll arrive at Frog Hollow Farm via Frogtown Road. It’s not heavily traveled, and you’re as likely to pass an occasional farm tractor or horse as another car. It’s a safe and scenic route for a morning or evening walk or run.
Our pond is aerated by an intermittent fountain, beautifully lit at night.
Those who prefer their exercise in a slower mode will be delighted with the network of maintained nature trails that traverse the entire Frog Hollow Farm property. An eight-foot Portabote with oars is available for guest recreation on our fountain-lit, frog-inhabited pond. You may even catch a glimpse of the elusive Great Blue Heron doing a little fishing for its next meal.
In season, you may enjoy fresh, organic fruit from the trees in our orchard.
Park benches, rockers and Adirondack chairs are placed strategically throughout the grounds, a welcome sight for those wishing a respite from their exercise. They’re also perfect places to sit quietly and meditate on nature in all its beauty. You can sit in two comfortable chairs behind the barn and watch the antics of Billy the Goat near the orchard.
Our little hollow is a perfect example of the surroundings that have inspired generations of writers, artists and other creative people in Bucks County. Walking or sitting anywhere on the property, you, too, may find yourself inspired by the sights and sounds of native wildlife: deer, geese, wrens, wild turkeys, pheasants, perhaps a fox or any number of hawks and owls.
Our land also features several unique and historic outbuildings, including…
