Delaware Canal State Park A 60-mile towpath along the Delaware River extending from Bristol to the south through Easton to the north. Once trod by mule teams to pull cargo up and down the river from the 1830’s to the 1930’s, today it provides recreation for hikers, joggers, bicyclists, cross-country skiers, canoeists and bird watchers. Nockamixon State Park – Just minutes away on Rt. 563,
5,283-acre Nockamixon State Park surrounds 1,450-acre Lake Nockamixon. Enjoy
a variety of activities throughout the year. Most park areas are open sunrise
to sunset. Fishing and boating is permitted 24 hours a day in designated
areas. Some park areas are closed in the winter, but there are some picnicking
areas, fishing areas, trails and cabins open year-round. Boating, fishing,
swimming pool, bicycle and equestrian trails. In winter, cross-country skiing,

Ringing Rocks Park – 128 acres of deep woods, hiking and picnicking in addition to having the largest waterfall in Bucks County. The biggest draw is the seven-acre field comprised of solid rock, 10 feet thick. To this day scientists cannot explain the phenomenon that when struck why many of the boulders ring.
