The Living Room

Imagine sitting in a room where warmth, shelter and companionship prevailed decades before the American Revolution was enacted. Welcome back to the 1740’s. The original walk-in fireplace and stone hearth still serve as a focal point of what was the combined kitchen/living quarters of the 250-acre farm. This room features thick plastered walls, deep recessed windows with their original pumpkin pine sills and hardwood flooring. A sense of tranquility prevails, for this was where the fire and conversation were, and where everyone gathered for warmth and companionship. We like to think our living room serves much the same purpose today.
