Welcome back to the golden age of steam railroading as you ride the same track area that was filmed in the 1914 “Perils of Pauline” movie scenes. nature's way KayakNature’s Way  – Four minutes from our B&B is Lake Nockamixon. Over 10 miles long it is the largest lake in Bucks County. We recommend renting a kayak or canoe from Bill Amey, owner of Nature’s Way.  His crew will deliver your choice of boat to the lakeshore line and pick up the craft. Life jackets and instructions will be provided. The Cycle Corner LogoYou can ride your own bicycles just minutes away at Lake Nockamixon on Rt. 563, or on the towpath of the Delaware Canal State Park (use the parking lot entrance at the “T” of Rt. 611 & 212) or at  Peace Valley Park Hike & Bike Trail – twenty minutes away in New Britain Township.

You are welcome to store your bikes in our garage to keep them out of the weather or when you travel to dine or tour about..

Or, if you need to rent bikes, you can do that across the river at The Cycle Corner in Frenchtown, NJ. Not only will they rent you bikes, they’ll adjust seats and handlebars to your comfort and provide you with lots of great information about area trails. LR Cave

Lost River Caverns– Discovered in the 1870’s by limestone quarry workers & opened to the public in 1930 after walkways, handrails & lights were installed, the caverns is a magical land of crystal formations and natural wonders.  The 45 minute guided walking tour meanders through 1200 feet of interesting rock & limestone configurations.  Since the caverns remain at a constant 52º temperature, the underground is a perfect “to go” place in the hot summer, frigid winter or just on a rainy day.  Though not handicap accessible, the entire footing consists of concrete ramps & a few steps.  A funky museum & a 1960’s gift shop are on the premises.  Bring your camera. Cost for adults – $13.25.  20 minutes west of us (10 minutes south of the Sands Casino in Bethlehem).  726 Durham St, Hellertown, 610-838-8767
