The Lily Pad Gift Shop
An area
of our breakfast nook has been reserved as a showcase for a few items
we feel will be appreciated by our guests as souvenirs of their stay with
us in Bucks County. We don’t stock many products, but carefully select
our offerings to reflect what we feel is unique and best about our area.
We also select with quality and affordability in mind.
Much of the jewelry,
crockery and artwork for sale is handmade by some of the artisans and
craftspeople for which our region is renowned. We have books by local
authors, and several other items that would make singularly delightful
gifts for those waiting for you at your destination. The selection is
constantly changing, so check it out each time you visit.
Your Coach Awaits
If you’ve
come to Frog Hollow Farm for a bit of serious relaxation and pampering,
ask about our “Door-to-Door Delivery” package. We’ll make
reservations for an evening of fine dining at the nearby Ferndale Inn,
where you can choose from the many delectable offerings of chef Karen
Baron. Trained at the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Karen also owns
the Ferndale. Though no longer serving as a lodging inn, it was once the
original stage route between Doylestown and Easton.
If you’re lucky,
you’ll arrive on a night when one of the talented local jazz ensembles
is performing. Regardless, you can linger until closing if you like, and
enjoy as much food and drink as you want to, because we’ll provide
the transportation to and from the Ferndale Inn. And not just any transportation:
You’ll enjoy a leisurely motor along the beautiful back roads of
Nockamixon Township, in the rumble seat of our restored 1931 Ford Coupe.
We’ll do all the driving—all you have to do is sit back and
enjoy the scenery.
